Heads up Documentary students! An interesting event!

Friday February 23, 7:00 pm $5.00

This ICP Event will take place at:
The New School, Swayduck Auditorium, 65 Fifth Avenue, ground floor

The panelists include: Alexandra Boulat/VII; Michael Robinson Chavez/Washington Post; Issa Freij/Filmmaker & CBS Cameraman; Heidi Levine/Sipa Press; and Shaul Schwarz/Getty Images and more.

Amidst heated public debate over their coverage of events in Israel, Palestine, and Lebanon, five photographers working in the Middle East come together to address the controversy.

Organized by the International Center of Photography, and moderated by photo editor and ICP Chair of Photojournalism and Documentary Photography, Alison Morley, this evening dialogue will examine the difficulty of interpreting both sides of an emotional story, through the eyes of photojournalists who live and work in these conflict areas.

The start of something new.

Hello all,

So I'm starting this photo blog as a way for us to communicate. share ideas& images. ALSO you can use this as a way to recieve feedback on your images/ projects from more than your classmates.

Please make use of this. I will be posting calls for work, exhibitions etc. . Feel free to do the same.

My photo classes will be participating in a photo exchange with Western Michigan University, University at Buffalo, and University of Wisconsin.

For more information visit:
http://photographyexchange.blogspot.com/.

I will post the specifications for submitting work in the following posting.

Let's make this work. Due to the links other faculty, artists, photo students will be exposed to your work. Most of the participating schools have Graduate photo programs.

Anyway start submitting your work.

peace.
